Initiation

I fall somewhere in the middle of "Computer literate" and "Knows just enough to be dangerous", so please bear with me on this initial outing. However, I have a wide variety of interests, and many more opinions on all of those interests. This should be a good experience for me, and I regret any boredom, consternation, etc I cause any of you who happen to read this.
